A few new cards

I love the feel of a handmade card and enjoy that it has the extra special caring touch for the person receiving it. Here are a few cards I’ve created for some special family and friends.

Below is a wedding shower congratulations card.

I’ve always had a thing for personalized stationery so I created this cheerful lemon’s design which is available in my Etsy Shop.

It’s never fun to be under the weather for any reason. Hopefully this card will bring some smiles =)

Hope everyone is doing well!

Sweet and delicate

Happy Birthday to my amazing mom! I came up with this sweet and delicate birthday card which is on its way to her now. Since her birthday is in the spring I incorporated a cheery floral background with the butterfly accent on top. Hope she likes it!

Decorative table numbers

A simple accent can add such a special touch to your tables at your next event. Decorative table numbers are the perfect addition. It’s easy to create a theme that ties into the invitations, table numbers, and event decor. Here are a few examples that look great in picture frames and in table number holders.

Damask butterfly’s

Pink and brown is one of the best color combinations as it is somewhat girly and elegant at the same time. I came across this elegant damask pattern to use and created a simple butterfly outline with it. These will make perfect Thank You cards or could even be changed to have your name on it as personalized stationery. Check them out over in my Etsy Shop.

Do you have any big plans for the week before starting to send the kids back to school?

Thank you notes

What a great way to say thank you or thinking of you then with a special notecard. These are on a beautifully textured cardstock with a simple argyle design. All colors can easily be changed to fit your style with your special message. Check these and other designs out in the Shop.

Do you have a design you would like to see on notecards? Have a great weekend everyone!

Custom designs

I love custom work! Every project is slightly different and no two will be exactly the same. I have a great friend who was looking for a unique wedding card and graduation card. Her cousin who is graduating high school will be going to Boston College so I played with the BC colors in creating this card for her.

For the wedding card I decided to go with a more simple yet elegant design with the simple message “Happily Ever After”.

Are there any custom designs you would like to see for some new cards?

Stationery

Wow it’s been a busy week! It seems that my purple floral stationery has been a favorite recently. Last week I made them into Thank You cards and this week I’m printing more for stationery. You can check them out here. I’m so glad that people are enjoying them and that there are still people who like to handwrite notes and letters instead of always writing an email. I always love checking the mail and mixed in with all the bills and junk find a nice special card to cheer up my day. =)

Purple Floral Card

Hope you are having a great week!

Loving Paper Punches!

I have never been able to cut a circle smooth and straight even if I have traced around a circle and tried to cut on that line. I’ve even tried to trace around the object with an exacto blade and it still wouldn’t be smooth. Ok so I must have issues using scissors but now that I’ve found circle paper punches… problem solved! I picked one of the other day and it makes a perfect circle every time yeah! I also found a great small flower and corner punch and I’ve been having so much fun playing around with these. Here’s a set of handmade cards I created with the paper punches and I can’t wait to play and make some more. You can find these over at my Etsy shop.

Thanks for visiting!

Paisley Fun

How was everyone’s weekend? We were welcomed to some beautifully sunny 90 degree days. Started Saturday morning watching the sunrise before running in a fun little 5k on the beach. Sunday turned into lots of errands and then a productive day creating a few new card designs. This paisley design came out fun and playful and I used some spring colors to brighten things up.

Keeping with the spring/summer theme I created this simple elegant butterfly card.

These are both available in my Etsy Shop. Hope you have a great week!
