Congratulations!

Congratulations Jen and Tony! I’m so happy for the both of you and wish you the very best in your life together. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding and reception. They had their wedding at Chapel in the Garden which is where my husband and I got married 2 years ago. It was a day full of nice memories of our day while sharing in their special day. Wish I had more pics to share but note to self… remember to check the camera batteries before heading out!

Jen had wanted a personalized touch so she had asked me to create menu’s for the reception. I was able to find some decorative designs to highlight their names and after a few trials on some different papers Jen decided on this Vellum paper which I thought turned out great!

Bright sunny cards

So far these are my favorite cards that I’ve come up with as they are bright and sunny and I would hope they could cheer up someone’s day. I had these great randomly sized raised flowers that matched the papers so well that I made a little trio of different variations. Hope you like them too =)

Happy Father’s Day!

To all the wonderful fathers out there and especially my own, Happy Father’s Day! Thank you for everything you do and for all your inspiration and words of wisdom growing up. This is my dad who has always been there to support me in my many adventures. Through all of the twists and turns of life whenever I needed someone to talk to, look up to or just listen he’s always been there. Thank you for being the most wonderful dad ever!

The above cute frame is from Sonel’s Corner who has created some adorable frames and art to share. Thanks =)

Weekend Fun

It was a beautiful sunny but very hot weekend which I spent indoors doing work. It wasn’t all bad though because it was much more pleasant in the AC then in the close to 100 degree mugginess outside =) I created a few more cards and began taking pictures so I’ll have everything ready to open my Etsy store shortly. I even had company while I was working. Check out Dusty chilling beside me.

First Post!

Hello everyone! With this being my first post I want to say many thanks to Lynn (Playful Pisces) and Namiji for helping me get everything started with loads of inspiration along the way. I’ve been a graphic designer for many years and was looking for something fun and new to keep my creative flow going and wanted to get back to some more creative handmade projects. Something handmade has always seemed to be so much more personal and I love being able to put my personal touch into projects. I started looking online and after getting quite overwhelmed with the amount of resources in the beginning, have found such an awesome creative community! I’ve started finding some outstanding bloggers who share their projects and ideas and have been such a huge inspiration. So now to find some free time and start a new creative adventure… time to begin =)
