Congratulations on 10!

Congratulations to my wonderful friend Tracy and her husband as they celebrated 10 amazing years with a ceremony of a renewal of their vows. Here is the special card I made for them on their special day.

Here’s to many more wonderful years! I love you both!

Decorative table numbers

A simple accent can add such a special touch to your tables at your next event. Decorative table numbers are the perfect addition. It’s easy to create a theme that ties into the invitations, table numbers, and event decor. Here are a few examples that look great in picture frames and in table number holders.

Delicate damask designs

Damask patterns come in so many different designs from simple to elaborate creating delicate and elegant patterns. I love how the the placement and pattern can easily change the feeling of the piece and create an elegant flair. Here are two new damask invitation designs that are available in my Etsy Shop.

What are your favorite designs?

Pocketfold Invitations

There are so many new options with the pocketfold invitations. I have found some pockets which are vertical, some that are 2 panels and others that completely wrap around. These can make a simple invitation more elegant and are perfect for those who want to include more information cards with their invitations. The pockets will hold 3 layered cards nicely such as Reception, Directions/Information, and Response card/envelope. These are now included in my Etsy Shop.

Do you have a favorite between the standard invitation and pocketfolds?

Pockets are here!

It’s been a busy couple of days and I feel like a kid getting all these packages in the mail! The pocket folds arrived for the invitations I’m working on and I love them! The bride picked out a gorgeous metallic blue color for the pockets with a natural linen textured paper for the invites.

I stopped by the printer today and all the printed pieces came out fantastic. It’s great to see the process from screen to reality as it all starts to come together. Of course there always seems to be one little snag because nothing is ever smooth. Turns out the smaller envelopes for the Response cards were not the correct size so I’m waiting on the new envelopes to arrive. At least I still have a little time for those to arrive since I still have to put all the invitations together. Here’s the first one…. only 79 more to go!

Check out the new pocketfolds listed in my Etsy Shop.

Ornate edges save the dates

I will be the first to admit that I am in love with paper punches! After using the scallop circle to create the Class of 2011 medallion for graduation invitations I keep looking for more ways to use them. I came up with this simple Save the Date design that I added a nice edge to the corners for that little something extra. This new listing is now available to check out in my Etsy Shop.

I’m working on a new Invitation design right now which will be the first one I get to use Pockets for! I have the pockets ordered and am finalizing the design for the invitation which will include a Directions, RSVP and Reception cards that will be fitted neatly inside the pocket. Can’t wait to see how it all looks together!

Custom designs

I love custom work! Every project is slightly different and no two will be exactly the same. I have a great friend who was looking for a unique wedding card and graduation card. Her cousin who is graduating high school will be going to Boston College so I played with the BC colors in creating this card for her.

For the wedding card I decided to go with a more simple yet elegant design with the simple message “Happily Ever After”.

Are there any custom designs you would like to see for some new cards?

Simple Elegance

Here is a new layered invitation set with a simple elegant feel. The background layer matches the border and name text and can be updated to match your color theme. These are now available in the Etsy Shop.

Hope you like this new design. Thanks for stopping by!

Colorful Damask Invitation Set

I recently created an elegant Damask invitation with a modern colorful feel to it. These can be created in any color to fit in with your wedding theme and can be found in my Etsy Shop.

The ones shown above are bolder colors but they can also be done in more muted neutral colors and tones for a softer more delicate feel to them.

A simple monogram can be a great addition to an invitation. Here is a new invitation set using the couples initials on the side along with a simple damask design. These are layered invitations which can be done in any color to match your wedding theme. Hope you like the new design. These are now available in the Etsy Shop.
